Beckers's Darcy Lecture Tour is Wrap

I am home after an amazing year on the 2024 NGWA Darcy Distinguished Lecture Tour. Here are the stats: 79 total lectures, 70 in person, 60 universities, 1857 students + 1854 others in attendance, 14 countries, 100,000 air miles. The stats do not convey the wonderful generosity of my hosts and the inspiration from meeting with brilliant faculty and students. Our discipline is evolving rapidly with academia adjusting to meet the challenge of protecting and supplying groundwater to the world. We are in good hands, based on the young faculty and students I met. Thank you NGWA for this opportunity. It was truly the highlight of my career!
